Children’s Day Celebration at Metro

Annually Children’s Day is celebrated on the 14th of November. It is celebrated for marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He always emphasized Children’s right, Care and education. In 1964, after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s death, the government of India announced 14th November as Children’s Day. His love and affection was true. Children show their affection by calling him ‘Cha-cha Nehru’.

November 7th and 8th; Metro Matriculation higher secondary school celebrated this year’s  Children’s Day with a completely different vibe. The program started with the school prayer. The students from LG to IX participated in various types of programs like patriotic songs, Role play, fancy dress, spell bee, skit, cook without fire, Rangoli.... etc. Teachers judged the events and the winners were selected.
